Career-Related Learning in Primary Education
Sheffield has been selected to be part of an exciting pilot programme to support the delivery of Career-related Learning in Primary Schools!
Start Small; Dream Big is a national programme funded by the Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) and backed by the Department for Education (DfE), which is being delivered through CEC's Careers Hub network.
The South Yorkshire Careers Hub and See it Be it in Sheffield are delivering the pilot locally and we are now looking for primary schools in Sheffield who would like to take part in this free programme!
Primary schools that sign up to the pilot will:
Receive a free course of online CPD from Teach First
Be supported to plan and develop employer encounters
Become part of our Primary community of practice
Have access to free resources from Teach First and CEC's primary platform
Become part of the wider See it Be it and South Yorkshire Careers Hun networks
Eligibility Criteria: The pilot is open to all state-funded Primary schools in Sheffield with above 23% of pupils on Free School Meals
